Heroes & Hounds is back—and better than ever!

The Galveston Firefighters Association is proud to bring back our fan-favorite calendar campaign, this time in partnership with Caitie’s Foster Fam, a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and finding forever homes for dogs in need.

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Galveston Island Humane Society for their support in past years and for the incredible work they continue to do for the animals of Galveston Island.

This year, we’re turning up the heat with a fresh lineup of local heroes and adoptable pups—coming together to support animal rescue and celebrate the bond between firefighters and our four-legged friends.

The Galveston Fire Department, Texas’ first paid fire department, has been serving the community with courage and dedication for over 130 years. Just like our firefighters rescue people, Caitie’s Foster Fam is out there rescuing dogs—giving them a second chance at life and love.
